From January to June 2024, the cumulative export volume of glass fiber and products in my country was 1.0513 million tons, up 14.48% year-on-year; the cumulative export value was US$1.423 billion, up 2.82% year-on-year.

In June, the export volume of glass fiber and products was 184,700 tons, up 16.90% year-on-year and down 4.35% month-on-month; the export value was US$243 million, up 8.00% year-on-year and down 5.08% month-on-month.

Among them, the monthly export volume of commodity yarn, woven fabrics, mechanical felt, chemical felt, prepreg and other products in June was 111,600 tons, 23,900 tons, 10,800 tons, 18,900 tons and 19,500 tons, accounting for 60.39%, 12.97%, 5.85%, 10.22% and 10.57% respectively.

Among the 31 specific tariff items, the top three export items in June were glass fiber roving, glass fiber chopped strands not exceeding 50 mm in length, and glass fiber chemically bonded mats, with export volumes of 71,500 tons, 32,400 tons, and 15,800 tons, respectively, accounting for 64.81% of the total exports this month. The lowest export volume was chemically bonded glass fiber mesh mats, which were only 18.2 tons.

The top three export volumes in June that increased month-on-month were chemically bonded glass fiber compact mats, other chemically bonded glass fiber compact fabrics, and glass fiber yarn compact plain woven fabrics with a width of not more than 30 cm, without coating or lamination, which increased by 86.4%, 57.4%, and 41.0%, respectively, with export volumes of 90.79 tons, 190.41 tons, and 157.77 tons, respectively.
